The records keep falling

Another record to show just how cold it has been this winter may have  fallen (it’ll be a record with an asterisk at this point). Last night (Wednesday) in Green Bay the temperature dropped to -11° shortly before midnight.  Then at 3:30 am this morning the temperature plummeted to -15°.  The official numbers aren’t in yet from the National Weather Service but that if it holds that would propel us into the number one spot for number of days below -10.  Even if that isn’t the case, the record has at least been tied.  The record for most days below zero keeps growing with another 2 days added because of the negative numbers reached yesterday and this morning.  This may be the final hurrah as warmer weather moves in and sticks around for the next 7 days.  So yes it has been cold and; most of us want it to end but at least we have the distinction of making it through one of the coldest winters on record!  Feel proud!
