Winds will diminish today but we’ll still have breezy north/northwest winds at 10 to 25 mph. We’ll see nothing like the winds we had yesterday with Sister Bay in Door County recording near 70 mph winds at 8:43 pm.
Expect partly sunny skies today with highs near 54°. If you’re heading to High School football games tonight, break out the jacket or coat because at game time temperatures will be in the mid 40s with north winds at 10 to 15 mph.

It’s a wet and windy start to the work week as periods of rain, heavy at times, will continue today with highs in the low 60s. Winds will be out of the northeast and east at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph, diminishing this afternoon. The chances of rain get smaller the next couple of days but we’ll still see scattered showers through Wednesday before a stubborn system finally moves out of the region on Thursday. Most areas in northeast Wisconsin will see between a half inch and three quarters of an inch of additional rainfall today. That will set up a nice end of the week and weekend. Check StormTrack Radar and Interactive Radar on Fox11online.com before you head out today.

We’ll see more clouds than sun through the weekend as an upper level low pressure area remains very close to the state . Until that system moves to the northeast, we’ll see off and on showers along with the clouds. Expect high temperatures near 60 the next couple of days with a bit of a warm up by Sunday. By the way… Autumn officially began this morning at 4:05 a.m. CDT.
If you’re heading to HS Football tonight: Game Time Temperature will be 52° with mostly cloudy skies and a small chance of a shower. We’ll have to deal with some isolated showers and breezy southwest winds today (10-20 mph with gusts to 30) and mostly cloudy skies tomorrow. Things will rebound for the weekend with highs in the mid 60s…still below normal for this time of year but not bad. By the way… Autumn officially begins Friday, September 23rd at 4:05 a.m. CDT. Have a great day!

Good Day! We’ll have a mild day with highs near 73° but the weather story becomes the strong south winds at 10 to 25 mph gusting to 35 mph this afternoon. The winds are the result of a storm system that will be pushing through tonight and into tomorrow. The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be in the evening hours between 5 pm and midnight. Cooler air will filter in tomorrow with the chance of a few showers and a high near 62°. Thursday will be the coolest day of the week before we warm up for the weekend. By the way… Autumn officially begins Friday, September 23rd at 4:05 am CDT.

Good Day! You may need an umbrella this morning but at least you can leave the winter coat in the closet. Drizzle and light rain is expected in the ara this morning but temperatures will be much warmer than they were at the end of last work week. Temperatures as you head out the door will be in the upper 50s and highs will reach near 70 later today as skies start to clear by this afternoon. Tomorrow’s high will again be in the low 70s with brisk south winds and after more rain showers tomorrow night, right now it’s looking like a very pleasant weather pattern will settle in for the first autumn weekend with highs in the 65 to 70 degree range. Autumn officially begins Friday, September 23rd at 4:04 am CDT. Have a great day!

Temperatures Friday morning were held up a bit due to mostly cloudy skies in much of northeast Wisconsin so frost wasn’t as much of an issue as it could have been. The temperatures dipped where the skies cleared…to the north. Morning lows ranged from 26° in the Iron Mountain/Niagara area to 41° in Appleton. Green Bay reported a low of 38° and Oshkosh had a low of 37°. Some record lows were seen in Rhinelander (27°) and tied in Merrill and Antigo (30°) An area of high pressure located just to the east of the state will bring partly sunny skies today and tomorrow with highs near 60 today and about 66° tomorrow. Sunshine will give way to clouds on Sunday as a cold front approaches and brings scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area. Right now the best chance of the rain looks to be in the afternoon. Have a great day!
High School Football Game Time Forecast: 51° and Mostly Clear with light south winds; End of Game: 45°

Good Day! You may have to reach into the closet for a coat or sweatshirt this morning…It’s chilly! Skies cleared overnight and that combined with light winds resulted in areas of frost this morning. High Temperatures will be about where they were yesterday, near 60° which is a full 10° below the normal high for this time of year. An area of high pressure will settle over the state tonight so we can expect temperatures to drop to near freezing again with frost forming in some areas. In fact there is already a freeze warning in effect for Menominee County in Michigan for tonight into Friday morning. There will be gradual warming trend through early next week. The weekend still looks good with a chance of showers on Sunday. Have a great day!

Good Day! We’re feeling the effects of northwest winds today blowing in some colder weather. Expect partly sunny skies today with a high near 58 and northwest winds at 10 to 20 mph. An area of high pressure moves on top of us tonight resulting in light winds and possible frost. There is a frost advisory in effect for areas to the west but it includes Waushara County. Temperatures drop to near freezing in most areas by tomorrow morning so even if you’re not under the advisory there’s still a chance of patchy frost. You may smell that smoke from the wildfire in northern Minnesota once again today with those northwest winds. After a high of only 56 tomorrow there’s a gradual warming trend through early next week. The weekend looks good with a chance of showers on Sunday. Have a great day!
