Ice leaving Green Bay

Last week when the strong winds raced across the area, I showed an interesting shot from the visible satellite imagery that we had received during the afternoon. With gusts over 50 mph, some of the ice over the northern bay had broken loose and started to work into northern Lake Michigan. Our friends at CIMSS from UW – Madison had seen the same thing and posted a movie for everyone to enjoy.
